Job Purpose:
The IT Trainer will be responsible for driving the adoption of new technologies within the organization, with a particular focus on Microsoft technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT department and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for technology adoption and develop strategies to increase adoption rates. The IT Trainer will also be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to ensure that employees are equipped with the necessary skills to use new technologies effectively.
The IT Trainer reports to the Application Manager.

Work with the IT department and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for technology adoption.

Develop and implement strategies to increase adoption rates of new technologies, with a particular focus on Microsoft technologies.

Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that employees are equipped with the necessary skills to use new technologies effectively.

Monitor and report on adoption rates and provide recommendations for improvement.

Identify and address barriers to technology adoption and develop strategies to overcome them.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure that new technologies are integrated into existing workflows.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption where appropriate.

Additional Requirements:
- A relevant Level 8 IT sector related degree recognised on the National Qualification Framework.
- 3+ years of experience in an IT training role.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Office 365, SharePoint, and Teams.

Knowledge of Salesforce would be a bonus.

Full Driving License is advantageous.

Salary Scale:
€53,071 to €76,227 per annum contributory superannuation.
Rising by long service increments to
€78,059 (after 3 years satisfactory service at the maximum of the range. N.B Must start at the minumim of the scale (unless currently working in the public sector)
