Lead Our Warehouse Operations in a Fast-Paced Medical Manufacturing Environment
Spectrum Plastics Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Lead Operative to join our growing manufacturing team in Tullamore. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious warehouse professional looking to take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations while supporting world-class medical device manufacturing.
As Warehouse Lead Operative, you will be responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, managing material flow, inventory accuracy, shipments, and supporting plant performance targets. You will work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Customer Service, and Engineering teams to ensure products are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities and prioritise workloads.
- Lead and support warehouse personnel, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Manage outbound shipments to meet customer delivery requirements and OTIF targets.
- Receive supplier deliveries and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Control material movement, stock transactions, and inventory accuracy.
- Perform stock counts and support inventory management activities.
- Safely load and unload vehicles using forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, quality, GDP and GMP compliance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives including 5S and process improvement projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and customer demand.
Essential Requirements
✅ Previous experience working in a busy warehouse environment
✅ Forklift licence with practical operating experience
✅ Experience in stock control and inventory management
✅ Strong organisational and planning skills
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
✅ Ability to work independently and take ownership of daily priorities
✅ Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Desirable
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems
- Experience in a manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom environment
- Continuous improvement or Lean experience
