Exciting opportunity to join the founding team of First Chapters Early Years Service.
First Chapters Early Years Service is delighted to begin recruitment for our new early years service opening in September 2026.
We are currently building our team and are seeking enthusiastic and caring Early Years Educators to join us as we prepare to open our brand-new facility.
The service will provide full-day care for children aged 1–5 years, operating from 8:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, and will include:
- A Baby Room (1–2 years)
- A Toddler Room (2–3 years)
- ECCE Preschool Room
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new service from the very beginning, helping to create a warm, nurturing and engaging environment where children can learn and thrive.
Our practice will be guided by Aistear and Síolta, supporting children’s learning through play, exploration and meaningful interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily care and supervision of children in the service
- Assist in planning and implementing learning experiences in line with Aistear
- Create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
- Support children’s learning and development through play and interaction
- Work in partnership with parents and families
- Maintain appropriate records in line with Tusla regulations and the Quality & Regulatory Framework
- Work collaboratively with colleagues as part of a team
Requirements
- Minimum Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (Level 6+ desirable)
- Knowledge of Aistear and Síolta
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Garda Vetting required
