Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Early Years Practitioner to join our créche team.
This position will be between upto 32-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The successful applicant must be flexible to work shifts across our opening hours of 8.30am-5.30pm.
Two part time positions would be considered also: Mornings 8.30am-1pm and 1pm-5.30pm with flexibility to work a full day if required on occasion to cover sick leave/holiday leave.
The successful candidate must have:
- A sincere and genuine love for working with young children
- A full Childcare Qualification as listed on the DCEDIY recognised Childcare Qualifications. Must be a minimum Level 5 OR from a recognised body. Level 7+ would be advantageous.
- Minimum of 1 year paid working experience in a Créche environment - working with children from 12 months upto 2 1/2 years.
- Knowledge of TUSLA requirements and 2016 regulations.
- Knowledge of working with Siolta and Aistear
- First Aid, Manual Handling and Fire Safety certificated (in date) are an advantage but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent team work principles.
