- Approx 3 hours per day (9.30 - 12.30 ideally)
Job Purpose
This role is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch in a small office/warehouse environment. This plays a crucial part in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick products according to order sheets or electronic scanners.
- Carefully pack products ensuring goods are protected and correctly labelled.
- Check products for damage or discrepancies
- Arranging courier tickets (DPD) and monitoring deliveries online.
- Assist with receiving, organising, and storing incoming stock.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Work efficiently to meet daily and weekly order processing targets.
- Assist with physical stocktakes and updating computer stock as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift moderate weights. Some box carrying up and down the stairs.
- Good teamwork and communication skills help resolve and avoid problems or delays with orders.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is an advantage but not required.
- Willingness to assist with any other tasks typically required within a small business.
Working Conditions
- Based in a bright, clean first-floor office/warehouse environment. May involve standing and walking for extended periods.
Pay: From €16.00 per hour
