Onyx Solutions is currently recruiting experienced Fire Alarm Engineers for permanent positions across Dublin and nationwide.
We have opportunities available for engineers with strong experience across the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and/or commissioning of Fire Alarm and Life Safety systems.
There are two requirements available, including a predominantly Dublin-based position working across a number of large sites and a separate position covering nationwide work, with the majority of projects based in Dublin.

THE ROLE
- Service and maintenance of Fire Alarm systems
- Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
- Installation and system upgrades
- Testing and commissioning
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive maintenance and call-outs
- Completing required service and maintenance documentation
- Working across commercial and large-scale environments
- Liaising directly with customers and site representatives
- Ensuring works are completed to required technical and safety standards
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Previous experience working as a Fire Alarm Engineer
- Strong knowledge of Fire Detection & Alarm systems
- Experience across service, maintenance and fault finding
- Installation and/or commissioning experience advantageous
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults independently
- Strong customer-facing skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of an engineering team
- Full driving licence
Experience with a range of Fire Alarm manufacturers and systems is advantageous.
