We need a reliable local driver to start in late August/ early September to serve Scariff Community College.
The run is a little over an hour in the morning and the same again in the afternoon, with the middle of the day free. Monday to Friday, school term only, all school holidays off.

Afternoon

- Same stops in reverse 17:05 Finish (approx.)
Distance and time:
- 58 km per leg - approximately 120 km per day across both legs Just under an hour of driving each way, over approximately 167 school days a year
Two ways to take it
- Full run - all five days. Approximately €350 to €400 per week.
- Job share - three days one week, two the next, rotating with a second driver. Approximately €140 to €240 per week.

The rate:
- €70 per day if you are based close to the school - Scariff, Tuamgraney or Ogonnelloe - where there is little or no travel to reach the start of the run.
- €80 per day from Killaloe, Ballina, Birdhill or O'Briensbridge, which covers the extra distance at either end of each leg.

This fits around your own work rather than replacing it. The school runs take the two slots hardest to fill with fares - early morning and late afternoon - and leave the middle of the day, evenings and weekends free for your own jobs.
You drive our vehicle, so no mileage, wear or fuel on your own car, and the rate is guaranteed whether the phone rings or not. Your SPSV licence covers you already.
What you need
- Full clean Irish driving licence (front and back)
- Current SPSV driver licence (front and back)
- Passport and a utility bill dated within the last six months
- NVB1 Garda vetting form - we send this to you to sign
- GP medical cert, unless completed in the last three months - we refund the cost when you start driving with us
- Based in east Clare or north Tipperary side: Scariff, Tuamgraney, Ogonnelloe, Killaloe, Ballina, Birdhill or O'Briensbridge
- Patient and comfortable working with young people with additional needs

Self-employed contract basis.
