We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment while supporting chefs and front-of-house staff during service.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, surfaces, and storage areas
- Assist with basic food preparation when required
- Empty bins and manage waste disposal safely
- Ensure all hygiene and health & safety standards are followed
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Receive and store deliveries appropriately
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential
