After a sustained period of significant growth, the real estate team at Philip Lee LLP is looking to hire a 1-3PQE solicitor.

The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with advising property teams on the acquisition and funding of land for major residential and commercial developments.
- Assisting with advising developers on the legal delivery of turnkey and forward-funded developments.
- Assisting with advising developers and landowners in judicial review proceedings challenging planning decisions.
- Assisting with advising on challenges to the inclusion of lands on Residential Zoned Land Tax (RZLT) maps.
- Assisting with the structuring of multi-unit residential and mixed-use developments, including management company and service charge regimes.
- Assisting with complex High Court and Commercial Court litigation arising from development, land use, and property disputes.
- Assisting with the negotiation of complex settlements in multi-party property and planning disputes to achieve commercially workable outcomes.
- Assisting with advising borrowers and developers on restructuring, forbearance, and distressed property scenarios.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- be a 1-3 PQE solicitor with experience in real estate;
- be naturally collaborative and understand the importance of being part of a team;
- prioritise attention to detail;
- display commercial awareness and understand what is important to clients; and
- have strong communication skills.
