Location: Ideally based to service Central Ireland with regular travel to surrounding areas

About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll perform break/fix repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on a variety of equipment, such as:
- Bus Ticketing Machines and related Technologies
- Retail Scanner Technology
- Last-mile delivery lockers
Training: Don’t worry if you lack experience with these technologies—comprehensive manufacturer and in-house training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, aiming for first-time fixes.
- Maintain accurate tool and parts inventory.
- Adhere to service level agreements and update call progress via a smartphone.
- Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills:
- Previous Field Service experience
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Full UK driving license and ability to pass security screening.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
- IT or engineering qualification.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with Bus Ticketing Machines, or similar systems is a bonus.
Personal Attributes:
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Flexible and willing to work weekends or out-of-hours on projects
- Self-motivated with a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
