Excellent opportunity for an ambitious Site Engineer to join a small / medium sized Main Contractor who have a strong pipeline of healthcare projects in the region and nationwide. For your new role you will be working closely alongside the project manager in helping to deliver a new mental healthcare facility located in North Cork

Responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying works from groundworks through to superstructure and completions
- Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Carry out quality checks, test records, and as‑built information
- Support commercial teams by providing measurements, identifying variations, and tracking progress
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, measurements, and progress updates
- Liaise with clients, designers, and project stakeholders, attending meetings as required
- Working alongside the Site Manager to help run the day-to-day site operations and planning.
- Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to programme.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience working as a Site Engineer with a Main Contractor in Ireland.
- Strong setting out and technical ability on residential or commercial projects.
- Excellent IT skills including AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project
- Strong communication, organisation, and problem‑solving abilities
- Experience assisting commercial teams tracking measurements, progress, variation etc
Pay: €65,000.00-€75,000.00 per year
