ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Bakery Manager to lead our busy in-store bakery team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee daily bakery operations, drive sales and profitability, and ensure the highest standards of product quality, food safety, and customer service.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Bakery department, ensuring high-quality production and presentation standards.
- Lead, train, and support the bakery team to deliver excellent customer service and performance.
- Drive sales through in-store initiatives, promotions, and product innovation.
- Plan production, manage batch control, portion control, and minimise waste.
- Manage stock ordering, stock rotation, stocktakes, and freshness checks.
- Ensure excellent merchandising and presentation in line with planograms and store standards.
- Maintain HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and Health & Safety standards at all times.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous food preparation and production experience is desirable.
- Experience leading or supervising a team is desirable.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
- Creative, organised, and detail-focused with a passion for fresh food.
- Ability to prioritise customer needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to use initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous customer service or retail experience is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
