Accounts Manager
We are looking for an organised, proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support the day-to-day financial operations across our growing group of companies, including The Card & Payments Awards and associated SME businesses.
This is a part time role 8 hours a week
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across multiple businesses in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, with exposure to international operations across the UK, Middle East and U.S. markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and assisting with VAT returns
- Managing and filing supplier invoices and receipts
- Reconciling bank accounts and company transactions
- Assisting with monthly management accounts
- Supporting the preparation of financial budgets and cashflow forecasts for several SMEs
- Monitoring company expenses and purchase records
- Liaising with external accountants and bookkeepers
- Maintaining accurate financial records and digital filing systems
- Assisting with payroll preparation and financial administration
- Supporting event-related financial administration where required
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in an accounts, finance or bookkeeping role
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
- Good understanding of VAT processes and financial administration
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Comfortable working across multiple companies and projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills essential
Desirable
- Experience working within SMEs or entrepreneurial businesses
- Exposure to event, media or professional services sectors
- Part-qualified accounting technician or bookkeeping qualification

Location
Cork Ideally- Ireland based preferred. Hybrid/flexible working considered for the right candidate.
