As a Maintenance General Operative, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, equipment, external areas, and car parks across a portfolio of properties.

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across residential and commercial properties.

Complete general repairs including carpentry, painting, minor plumbing, patch plastering, and basic maintenance tasks.

Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance requirements and report preventative works.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency call-outs when required.

Diagnose faults with building services and escalate specialist repairs where necessary.

Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and Property Managers to prioritise and complete maintenance requests.

Maintain accurate records of completed works and report any health and safety concerns.

Assist with sourcing materials, tools, and equipment for maintenance projects.

Ensure compliance with company policies and all relevant health and safety regulations.

2-3 years' experience in a maintenance, facilities, property maintenance, or general operative role.

Experience working within residential, commercial, or industrial properties.

Strong practical skills across general building maintenance, including carpentry and basic repairs.

Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and organisational skills.

Flexible approach with a willingness to travel between sites across South Meath and North Dublin.

Full clean driver's licence essential.
