Dry Cleaning & Laundry Assistant —
We are looking for a motivated Dry Cleaning & Laundry Assistant to join our busy dry cleaning and laundry business. The role involves helping with garment cleaning, pressing, customer service, and general shop duties. While experience in the industry is desirable, it is not essential — full training will be provided. If you are reliable, friendly, and willing to learn, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Garment Processing — Sorting, tagging, cleaning, pressing, folding, and packaging customer items.
- Customer Service — Greeting customers, taking orders, answering queries, and handling payments.
- Machine Operation — Operating washers, dryers, presses, and finishing equipment safely (training provided).
- Quality Control — Inspecting garments for stains, damage, and ensuring a high‑quality finish.
- General Shop Duties — Maintaining a clean workspace, restocking supplies, and supporting daily operations.
Requirements
- Friendly, reliable, and willing to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good attention to detail.
- Experience in dry cleaning or laundry is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
