Clearbrook Nursing Home is actively seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM2) to join our dedicated team.

Job Summary
The CNM2 will support the Director of Nursing and senior management team in the clinical leadership and day-to-day management of Clearbrook Nursing Home.
The role combines strong clinical leadership with hands-on nursing care and requires the successful candidate to ensure that residents receive safe, holistic and person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity and quality of life.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Provide effective clinical leadership, support and guidance to nursing and care staff.
- Support the Director of Nursing in the day-to-day clinical management of the nursing home.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe and person-centred care to residents.
- Lead and support nursing teams in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident care.
- Promote effective multidisciplinary teamwork and communication.
- Support the training, mentorship and professional development of nursing and care staff.
- Ensure high standards of clinical documentation and record management are maintained.
- Support best practice in key clinical areas, including wound management and pressure area care.
- Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control, hygiene and resident safety.
- Promote residents' dignity, independence, choice, privacy and respect at all times.
- Support the management of daily staffing and rosters to ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill mix.
- Identify, manage and escalate clinical concerns appropriately.
- Support clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure policies, procedures, clinical protocols and best-practice standards are implemented and maintained throughout the nursing home.
Qualifications & ExperienceEssential
- Recognised nursing qualification
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Clinical Nurse Manager role within an Irish nursing home setting
- QQI Level 6 qualification in Leadership or equivalent
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
- Strong clinical leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Must be legally permitted to work in Ireland without visa sponsorship
Desirable
- Previous experience in the care of older persons
- Additional management or leadership qualification
- Strong IT skills
- Experience in clinical governance, audits and quality improvement
