The Role
Vacancies have arisen for CNC Machine Operators.
Applicants should have experience in loading programmes, machine setting and intervening in the event of malfunction, breakdown and machining errors. Applicants should be competent in performing quality checks and the ability of working on own initiative is essential.
Duties
· Setting, programming and operation of CNC Turning Centres and CNC Milling Machines.
· In-process inspection and quality inspection of finished components.
· Work in an efficient and effective manner in line with set targets.
· Maintain high levels of housekeeping.
· Demonstrate an ability to work independently and on own initiative.
· Maintain machines daily and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
· Maintain efficiency records of equipment.
· Ensure all processes and procedures are followed.
· Achieving production and quality targets.
· Ensure that all Health and Safety rules are always adhered to.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications
· Experience and knowledge of CNC lathes and CNC Milling machines.
· Excellent understanding of engineering drawings.
· Good understanding of cutting tools and fixtures.
· In-depth understanding of geometric tolerances
· Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
· High level of initiative and self-motivation.
· Good attention to details.
· Good communication skills.
