Renowned for its clinical excellence and patient-first approach, the clinic is entering an exciting phase of growth and is now seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join its senior leadership team.
This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of the clinic while working alongside an experienced and supportive leadership team.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Clinic Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operational leadership of the clinic, overseeing a multidisciplinary team and helping deliver an exceptional patient experience.
As the Clinic Manager prepares for maternity leave later this year, you'll have the unique opportunity to step into an enhanced leadership capacity, gaining valuable exposure to the wider management of the business with the support of an experienced leadership team. Following this period, you'll continue in your permanent role as Assistant Manager, making this an exciting opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their leadership career.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll work across operations, people management, commercial performance and continuous improvement, helping ensure the clinic continues to deliver the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of Optometrists, Nurses and Technicians.
- Support the day-to-day operational management of the clinic.
- Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs and support commercial performance.
- Deliver an outstanding patient experience.
- Coach, mentor and develop managers and team members.
- Support recruitment, performance management and employee development.
- Build strong relationships with senior clinicians and key stakeholders.
- Play a key leadership role during an exciting period of organisational growth.
