JOB DESCRIPTION
The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the company's IT network, servers, and security systems. They will be part of the existing IT department and will report directly to the Chief Information Officer. Part of this role will involve ticket management queues and set departmental priorities.
The ITC Group have made the decision to work remotely on a permanent basis. Therefore, this role is exclusively a remote working opportunity. However, some travel to remote sites and customer locations may be needed in order to resolve issues with software and hardware.
SALARY
€40,000 – €50,000 depending on experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
We see the development of our IT systems and processes as a crucial part of our strategic development plans and the ideal candidate will be a forward-looking, ambitious individual to lead IT change within the business. This new role, forming part of the existing IT Team, provides an exciting opportunity to shape the growth and development of the IT function.
Some of the main responsibilities of the role include:
· Ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems.
· Governing database operations.
· Providing user education and training.
· Maintaining comprehensive documentation.
· Looking after access privileges.
· Planning for backups and recovery needs.
· Automating repetitive system administration jobs.
· Maintaining and creation Standard Operation Procedures.
REQUIRED SKILLS & BEHAVIOURS
· Strong knowledge in Microsoft Technology stack (Azure, MSIntune, Autopilot, Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI Microsoft Apps (Outlook, Sharepoint, Excel, Word), Backups), Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy Management.
· Strong knowledge of java script.
· Strong knowledge of all aspects of general IT including Disaster Recovery and Cyber Security.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· A solutions driven approach with an ambition to own projects.
· A customer driven mentality with good work standards and structured methodologies.
· An ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
· Detailed planning and control skills.
· Ability to contribute to teams and be a team-player, while holding strict PM delivery and outcomes.
· ISO27001 knowledge would be a strong advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· An Honours Primary Degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science or similar technical discipline.
· At least three years’ experience in an IT Systems Administrator role involving support, equipment and software rollouts.
· Project Management Qualifications (PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum or PMI) would be a strong advantage.
· Cyber Security qualification.
· A strong technical background is essential – experience in the software development lifecycle.
· A background in financial services would be an advantage.
