Job Title: General Operative
Location: Summerhill, Co. Meath
Job Overview
As a Production Operative with Mi-Flues you are responsible for supporting the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced efficiently, safely, within agreed time frames, to our high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all health and safety requirements and company policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), actively observing the company’s safety culture
- Operate production equipment and machinery in line with safe operating procedures
- Assemble product as per product specifications
- Monitor production processes and report any issues or defects
- Carry out quality checks in line with In Process and Final Inspection checks
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Work to meet production targets and deadlines
- Assist with stock handling and inventory control as required
- Provide support across other production areas when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a production environment is desirable but not essential
- Attention to detail and quality focus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Comfortable working in a production environment with some repetitive tasks
Experience
· Some experience in a manufacturing, assembly or similar role is an advantage but not essential
· Skills
- Good Communication skills
- Ability to operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently an advantage
