Anglesey Lodge Equine Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, professional, and dedicated nursing team, based on The Curragh, Co. Kildare.
This position is a full-time position.
The role will require a reliable, hard-working, and motivated individual with outstanding attention to detail, who is keen to apply and develop their nursing skills to the highest standards, whilst working in a rewarding environment.
The position will involve all aspects of nursing care of equine patients across a wide range of disciplines including theatre, internal medicine, outpatient, neonatal and intensive care.
The successful candidate should have a passion and drive for delivering outstanding patient care. The candidate must also be a team player who enjoys working in a supportive environment whilst also being able to use your initiative.
The successful candidate can expect many opportunities to learn and develop your skills. All training will be given.
The salary is dependent on previous experience. The successful candidate will be paid for any overtime worked, have a CPD allowance, and uniform provided.
New graduates are welcome and will be provided with full training and support.
This is a full-time position, with shifts between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday on the core nursing team. On call duties and weekends are shared across the nursing team, (Mondays are off after working weekends). All overtime is paid.
There is a full staff of Interns, Animal care assistants, yard staff and night staff working alongside our current experienced nursing staff, with international visiting students all year also.
This is a busy hospital with a wide variety of cases. The hospital is based five minutes from Kildare town on The Curragh of Kildare, the heart of Irish thoroughbred racing with many local attractions, restaurants, The Irish National Stud, Local Racecourses and many more. The hospital is located just under an hour from Dublin airport.
Equine experience is required.

Pay: €37,000.00-€41,000.00 per year
