ROLE: STOCK CONTROLLER
ROLE SUMMARY: Reporting to the Branch Retail & Operations Managers the Stock Controller will be responsible for the effective coordination and execution of scheduled Stock Cycle Counting.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Completion and co ordination of Stock Cycle Counts
- Monitoring Negative Stock and keeping to a minimum
- Preparation of Stock Management Plan
- Working with Management and sales team to minimise aged stock.
- Updating stock information on the computer system.
- Compiling Daily Reports and addressing Inventory discrepancies
- Monitoring Stock levels in branches in cooperation with Purchasing team.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation and ensuring these relationships are maintained to the highest standards.
- Ensure stock levels reflect business requirements.
- Continuously work to identify and lead process improvements
ACCOUNTABILITY
- Ensure stock levels reflect business requirements.
- Provide administration support to Financial Controller and Branch Managers
- Ensure that all Stock processes are best in line with best practice.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3 years Stock management experience.
- Detailed knowledge of Stock Management and procedures.
- High level of proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
