Graphic Designer (Brazilian Portuguese & English Speaker)
We’re seeking a talented Graphic Designer with a strong foundation in graphic design and cultural awareness of the Brazilian market. This role involves producing high-quality, trend-aware, and customisable templates for a world-renowned creative platform. You’ll play a leading role in a fast-paced production environment, guiding a team of designers with confidence and positivity, while delivering visually striking and commercially relevant artwork.
You’ll collaborate with fellow creatives, review design work, and provide thoughtful feedback. Additionally, you’ll contribute bilingual (Brazilian Portuguese and English) copy for implementation in design templates, ensuring local and global appeal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of designers, providing feedback and direction to uphold creative excellence.
- Create trend-driven, customisable templates and visual assets for a global marketplace.
- Ensure creative output reflects cultural relevance and sensitivity, especially within the Brazilian market.
- Write and adapt compelling, design-ready copy in both Brazilian Portuguese and English.
- Stay up to date with visual trends, styles, and culturally relevant content across global and regional markets.
- Collaborate across departments including marketing for promotional campaigns and internal communications.
- Contribute to asset management and support general administrative tasks when needed.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of professional experience in graphic design, art direction, or related roles.
- A BA in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent qualification.
- A strong and relevant portfolio showcasing creative and commercial design work.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro DC).
- Strong copywriting skills in Brazilian Portuguese with the ability to provide English translations.
- Proven experience in trend research and application.
- Comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback in a team environment.
- Outstanding understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and color theory.
- Highly organized with strong time management and project planning capabilities.
- Confident communicator with leadership potential and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict quarterly content delivery goals.
