Job Description:
Join Tote Ireland as a part-time Tote Betting Assistant and be part of the excitement at racecourses across Ireland! We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to sell bets and provide top-notch service to our customers at over 360 race meetings and festivals each year.
Responsibilities:
- Bet Handling: Accept and process bets using cash or card transactions.
- Customer Assistance: Help customers understand different types of bets and provide guidance as needed.
- Transaction Management: Issue winnings accurately and efficiently.
- Device Operation: Operate betting booths and handheld devices proficiently.
- Customer Service: Deliver excellent service in a busy and dynamic environment.
Requirements:
- Must be aged 18 or over
- Ability to work in person at racecourses
- Strong numeracy and communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Job Type: Casual
- Must be available to work 27th of July to 2nd of August.
Paid Training: Provided; no previous experience in a betting environment or racecourse is required.
