Asphalt Roller Driver – Full-Time | Navan, Co. Meath

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Asphalt Roller Driver to join our team here in Tarstone Road Maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating ride-on roller machinery to compact and finish newly laid asphalt on roads, driveways, and other surfaces, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating ride-on rollers to compact and finish freshly laid asphalt on roads, car parks, and other surfaces, ensuring a high standard of workmanship and site safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate asphalt roller machinery safely and efficiently.
- Work as part of a surfacing crew to achieve smooth and level finishes.
- Carry out pre-start checks and basic maintenance of machinery.
- Follow all health and safety protocols and site procedures.
- Assist with other site duties when required.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS, Safepass, or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience operating asphalt rollers on tar/asphalt jobs.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices on site.
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Flexible working hours
- Weekend availability as needed
