What you will do for us
-
Design, develop, test, and maintain manufacturing and automation software applications using C# and .NET (.NET Framework and .NET Core).

Build backend services, APIs, and integrations connecting shopfloor systems (PLCs, SCADA, Batch) with enterprise applications and databases.
-
Develop operator and engineering interfaces using Vue.js and the Ignition platform.
-
Work with Microsoft SQL Server databases, writing efficient queries, and designing data models.
-
Implement data access using Entity Framework and Dapper.
-
Integrate applications with industrial devices and external vendor systems.
-
Support and enhance manufacturing platforms including FactoryTalk Batch, SCADA, HMI, and PLC data collection systems.

Participate in digital manufacturing and “Plant of the Future” initiatives.

Manage source control and CI/CD workflows using GitLab.
-
Apply DevOps and containerization practices; support deployments in modern environments (including Kubernetes where applicable).

Troubleshoot performance issues, bottlenecks, and system faults in production environments.

Ensure robust validation, testing, and documentation of automation software solutions.
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:

A minimum of 2 years relevant experience is essential in programming systems support

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Experience developing applications in C# using .NET Framework and/or .NET Core/.NET.

Strong SQL skills and experience with Microsoft SQL Server (querying, schema design, performance).

Experience with Entity Framework and/or Dapper ORM/data access.

Experience developing web or UI applications using Vue.js (or similar frameworks).
-
Experience with Git-based source control (GitLab or similar).

Solid understanding of object-oriented design and software architecture.

Experience integrating software with external systems, APIs, or industrial devices.

Experience with industrial manufacturing software for example Batch, SCADA, HMI PLCs or similar an advantage
-
Experience with the Ignition industrial platform is an advantage.

Demonstrated experience of delivering projects in a complex systems environment
-
Ability to work independently in a manufacturing or production-critical environment.
