Description:
A minimum of 6 years maintenance and repair experience (of European
cars) is required. This is not a technician position, but a maintenance and repair mechanic
position. Experience in the replacement of timing belts and chains is a distinct advantage.
Very good English, both written and spoken is essential. Proof of trade qualification is
essential. Computer literacy (Autodata, Bosch KTS, sourcing and reading service literature etc)
is essential.
Duties include:
- Replacement of timing belts
- Replacement of timing chains
- Diagnosis and repair of mechanical issues
- Car maintenance and servicing
- Using industry IT tools, including Autodata and Bosch KTS
Essential requirements :
- Minimum Experience Required (Years) : 6 Years of Motor vehicle mechanics and repairers Experience
- Minimum Qualification : Level 6 (incl Higher Advanced Certificate & National Craft Certificate)
