Experienced National Account Manager with a track record of delivering results in the FMCG sector.
Role and Responsibilities
Manage and grow key strategic retail and wholesale partners for Aryzta Food Solutions, encompassing Frozen, Chilled, Ambient and third-party supply agreements.
Deliver EBIT targets, with a strong focus on developing and executing channel strategies that support broader business and country objectives.
Develop and implement strategic business plans through customer-facing sales strategies aligned to commercial goals.
Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with key internal stakeholders and external customers to drive long-term partnerships and business growth.
Create and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) in collaboration with wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with the Field Sales team to develop strategies for winning new business, while delivering effective in-store activations, promotional campaigns and customer events.
Own channel forecasting and delivery across manufactured products, seasonal ranges, new product development (NPD) launches and gap-filling initiatives, managing a portfolio of more than 650 SKUs across Bakery, Food-to-Go and Hot Beverage categories.
Lead commercial negotiations on key category initiatives, including pricing reviews, price increases and trading terms that deliver sustainable value for the business.
Manage commodity and currency-related challenges, adopting a collaborative, win-win approach to maintain strong customer relationships while protecting profitability.
Drive the successful launch of brand activations and NPD initiatives, taking full ownership of commercial planning, pricing, volume forecasting, stakeholder engagement and implementation.
Conduct regular account review meetings with national account head offices, engaging with stakeholders such as Trading Managers, Brand Directors, Sales Directors and senior leadership teams.
Plan, organise and manage 10–15 trade shows annually, supporting audiences of up to 1,000 retailers. Responsible for showcasing multiple product concepts and coordinating a team of approximately 20 sales representatives to ensure successful event delivery.Ensure the efficient resolution of customer service and operational issues, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Oversee day-to-day account administration, including cost card management, product portfolio analysis, promotional evaluation and ongoing commercial performance reviews.
Analyse market trends, customer performance and category opportunities to identify growth initiatives and maximise commercial results.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
Previous account management experience ideally within an FMCG environment.
Proven ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external contacts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation skills combined with the ability to influence others.
Strong commercial acumen.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A relevant third level qualification is desirable.
