We are looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver & Field Sales Representative to join our bakery in Tallaght.
The role involves delivering bread and bakery products to existing customers across Dublin. You will also visit shops, cafés and restaurants along the route to introduce our products and develop new business.
Sales are a key part of this position. Practical field sales training, product training and ongoing support will be provided by the manager.
Main Responsibilities
- Load the company vehicle each morning.
- Check the stock and assigned route before departure.
- Deliver customer orders safely.
- Use the company iPad for directions, customer information and delivery records.
- Mark every delivery as completed.
- Visit potential customers along the route.
- Follow up with interested customers.
- Report orders, sales activity, customer feedback and delivery issues to the manager.
- Work directly with the manager to grow the customer base and delivery route.
Route times are estimated. The driver will be expected to review the route before departure and plan for traffic and possible delays.
Requirements
- Full, valid driving licence.
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Comfortable driving a company vehicle around Dublin.
- Friendly and confident when speaking with customers.
- Good spoken English.
- Able to lift and move boxes of bakery products.
- Willing to learn, approach new businesses and ask for orders.
- Previous delivery-driving or sales experience is helpful but not essential.
- Applicants with previous van-sales experience are particularly welcome.

Working Hours
The role is 4 days per week. The working day starts at 8:00am and usually lasts approximately 5–6 hours. It ends when the planned deliveries and agreed sales visits have been completed.
