David Kiely Kitchens, a well-established kitchen and fitted furniture manufacturer based in Carrigaline, Cork, is looking for a dynamic Drawing Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will work hand in hand with Sales Representative/clients and walk the client through the design process while understanding the customers brief in full.
This will be a full time role and hours of work will be 9am to 5pm Mon-Thurs and 9am to 4pm on Fridays.
The Main Responsibilities of the Role:
· Meet and greet prospective clients in a professional and friendly manner.
· Acting in a supportive role with the Managing Director/Sales Representative in sales and marketing
· In conjunction with the Sales Representative:
- Prepare and design presentation drawings using Arti-CAD or a similar program while demonstrating a knowledge of spatial awareness and efficient use of space.
- Preparation and issue of quotations with the assistance of the Sales Representative
· Assist in securing Customer Orders
· Prepare workshop files with technical drawings
· Take an active role in the project from inception to completion
· Maintain knowledge of products on the current market
· Organisation of auxiliary materials specific to the project
· Answering the telephone and responding to emails when required
· Other ad hoc admin duties when required
Ideal Candidate requirements:
· Knowledge of ArtiCad or similar design software
· Previous experience is essential/qualification in Interior Design
· Capable of working on own initiative with the focus on achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets
· Highly organised individual with ability to prioritise and excellent attention to detail.
· Enthusiastic and friendly
· Excellent telephone manner
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary will be negotiable and based on experience
