We are currently seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Kitchen Coordinator to support the day-to-day administration and coordination of our busy Kitchen Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has outstanding organisational skills, and is passionate about supporting operational excellence.
As Kitchen Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of the Kitchen Department. Working closely with the Executive Head Chef and the wider culinary leadership team, you will coordinate administrative processes, support purchasing and stock control, maintain compliance records, and assist with communication across departments.
You will be instrumental in keeping the department organised, compliant, and operating efficiently, allowing the culinary team to focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Head Chef and kitchen management team.

Coordinate departmental schedules, meetings, and communications.

Maintain accurate filing systems, records, and kitchen documentation.

Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and departmental correspondence as required.

Support recruitment administration, onboarding documentation, and training records for kitchen colleagues.

Process purchase orders and coordinate supplier deliveries.

Maintain accurate records of invoices, deliveries, and stock documentation.

Assist with stock control processes and inventory reporting.

Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any discrepancies.

Support cost control initiatives through accurate record keeping and reporting.

Maintain HACCP documentation and ensure records are completed accurately.

Assist with food safety audits and compliance monitoring.

Keep training records, certifications, and compliance documentation up to date.

Support the implementation of health, safety, and food hygiene standards throughout the department.

Ensure all kitchen administration complies with company policies and statutory requirements.

Coordinate communication between the Kitchen and other hotel departments.

Assist with menu administration, recipe documentation, and allergen information.

Support planning for functions, events, and seasonal activities.

Help prepare operational reports, budgets, and departmental performance information.

Provide administrative support for projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Kitchen Department.

Foster positive working relationships across all departments.

Provide administrative assistance to chefs and kitchen leaders as required.

Promote a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Support the department in delivering the highest standards of quality and service.
The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience in an administrative or coordinator role, ideally within hospitality, food service, or a busy operational environment.

Excellent organisational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Strong administrative and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of HACCP, food safety procedures, or kitchen operations would be an advantage.
