Assistant Psychologists
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Assistant Psychologists to join our team. This is
an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced Clinical Psychologists and care teams,
delivering direct therapeutic support and contributing to the ongoing development of our growing
highly specialised services. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a reflective mindset,
and a commitment to ethical, person-centred practice.
Location: Principally located in Dublin
Hours: Full-time or Part Time (Up to 39 hours per week, excluding travel)
Contract Length: 12 Months

Salary: From €28,696.2 to €34,500, based on location and experience

informed method of supporting behaviours of concern and we are committed to delivering high-
quality, person-centred care in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.
You will:
● Assist in psychological assessments and interventions
● Provide 1:1 therapeutic support
● Contribute to behaviour and support planning
● Work collaboratively with families and staff teams
● Participate in reflective supervision and ongoing professional development

Essential Criteria
● Undergraduate degree in Psychology (minimum 2:1 classification)
● Eligibility for Graduate Membership of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI)
● Experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, or behaviours that
challenge
● Excellent communication and time management skills
● Full clean driving license and access to a vehicle
Desirable
● Knowledge of the Low Arousal Approach
● Previous experience in applied or clinical psychology settings
