Pay: From €16.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Templeogue Afterschool Academy has been providing high-quality afterschool care for local families for over 10 years. We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and reliable Art Teacher to join our friendly team and inspire children through art and creativity.
About the Role
You will deliver fun and engaging art activities for primary school children, encouraging creativity, imagination and confidence in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate art activities
- Introduce children to different art techniques and materials
- Encourage creativity, self-expression and confidence
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Prepare art materials and assist with classroom set-up and tidy-up
- Ensure children's safety and wellbeing during activities
- Build positive relationships with children and the wider team
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience teaching art or working with children in a creative setting
- Be creative, patient and enthusiastic
- Enjoy inspiring children through arts and crafts
- Have good communication and organisation skills
- Be reliable and work well as part of a team
Requirements
- Experience working with children is an advantage
- Garda Vetting (or willingness to obtain it)
- Permission to work in Ireland
- Art, Design, Education or related qualifications are an advantage but not essential
