Weekend Driver

Key Requirements
- Full clean B / C / C1 driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification and Driver Card
- Reliable and punctual with strong time management skills
- Ability to ensure deliveries and collections are completed safely and on schedule
- Good communication skills and ability to report delays or issues promptly
- Strong understanding of road safety and transport compliance regulations
- Forklift, Reach Truck, or Power Pallet certification advantageous but not essential
The Role
We are looking for a reliable and professional Weekend Driver to support the smooth operation of the business by ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed efficiently and on time.
This role is responsible for maintaining delivery schedules, completing all required paperwork accurately, and providing excellent service to customers while ensuring full compliance with transport legislation and company procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesDriving & Deliveries
- Deliver and collect products in line with customer instructions and scheduled requirements
- Ensure all customer deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Safely secure all freight and materials during transit
- Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers
Communication & Compliance
- Report any delays, shortages, vehicle issues, or delivery concerns to management promptly
- Complete and maintain all relevant delivery and transport paperwork accurately
- Ensure tachograph and Driver Card are used correctly and in accordance with legislation
- Adhere to all road traffic laws, transport regulations, and company health & safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Previous driving or delivery experience preferred
- Strong awareness of safety and compliance standards
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Flexible, dependable, and proactive attitude
- Machinery certifications such as Forklift, Reach Truck, or Power Pallet Truck are beneficial
