Job Overview
The Heights Hotel is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accommodation Assistant to join our housekeeping team. This role is essential in ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest bedrooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standard.
- Change bed linens, replenish towels, and restock guest amenities.
- Ensure all rooms and corridors are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the Accommodation Manager.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with laundry duties as required.
- Deliver excellent customer service and respond to guest requests in a professional manner.
- Work efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Adhere to hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
