Field Technician – Container Insulation
Dublin (with nationwide travel)
BubblePack Insulation is an Irish company specialising in thermal liner installation inside shipping containers for exporters and logistics providers. We work across major container depots and export hubs throughout Ireland.
We‘re currently looking for a Field Technician to join the team.
This is a hands-on role working on the installation of insulation liners inside shipping containers, supporting temperature-sensitive export shipments for major food, beverage and pharmaceutical exporters . You‘ll be based around Dublin but travelling to sites across the country, so it would suit someone who doesn‘t mind being on the move and working in different environments.
What you‘ll be doing
- Installing insulation liner systems inside shipping containers
- Working across container depots and logistics yards nationwide
- Making sure all work is completed to a good standard
- Preparing materials and equipment for each job
- Working closely with the ops team to plan out your day
- Keeping work areas clean and safe
- Representing the company well on-site
Location & travel
- Dublin-based (Dublin Port, Inland Container Depot, Clane warehouse)
- Regular travel to sites in Cork, Mayo, Waterford etc.
- Mostly day trips, with the odd overnight stay
- Travel is a big part of the role
Hours
- Monday to Friday, typically 9am – 5pm
- Early starts may be needed for longer runs (e.g. 6am)
- Occasional weekend work
What we‘re looking for
- Someone practical and hands-on
- Comfortable with manual work and site environments
- Able to work on your own and manage your time
- Full clean driving licence
- Easy to deal with and good communication
- Flexible when it comes to travel and hours
Nice to have (not essential)
- Background in construction, logistics or similar
- Experience working in depots or industrial settings
- Experience driving a van
