As an Activities Assistant, you will play an important role in enhancing residents' wellbeing by delivering person-centred activities that promote independence, social connection and quality of life, while supporting a positive and homely atmosphere throughout the care centre.

Deliver engaging, person-centred activities that support residents' physical, emotional, social and cognitive wellbeing.

Assist in planning and facilitating a varied programme of activities tailored to residents' individual interests, abilities and preferences.

Encourage resident participation, promote independence and treat all residents with dignity, respect and compassion.

Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure activities are safe, appropriate and enjoyable.

Involve residents and families in developing meaningful activities that reflect individual life histories, hobbies and interests.

Maintain accurate records, contribute to activity planning and ensure all activities comply with health and safety, safeguarding and care centre policies.

Provide a friendly, professional and welcoming service to residents, visitors and colleagues while helping to create a vibrant and homely environment.
