Head Kitchen Porter
This is a vital role in a kitchen as it helps ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.
Our successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience and be flexible with his/her hours as weekend work is required.
Your main duties are:
1) To work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of this section ensuring the standards of cuisine and hygiene are maintained
2) Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
3) Collect and wash up pots and pans.
4) Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
5) Unload food and equipment deliveries.
6) Keep the storeroom organised.
7) Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.
8) Must be able to work well on their own initiative and to work in a team environment
