Baking Assistant – La Cucina

La Cucina is looking for a Baking Assistant to join our hardworking and friendly baking team in Ballysimon, Limerick.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about baking and wants to develop their skills and gain experience in a busy, established and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the baking team with daily preparation and production
- Preparing and baking a range of fresh products, including cinnamon buns, croissants, Rocky Road, cookies and other baked goods
- Preparing ingredients and following recipes accurately
- Maintaining consistent quality, taste and presentation
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Ensuring HACCP and food safety standards are followed at all times
- Cleaning and maintaining baking equipment and work areas
- Supporting the wider kitchen team with daily operational tasks
- Assisting with deliveries when required
- Working efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:
- Early shifts with a 6am start
- Weekend availability required
Ability to commute/relocate:
Limerick, County Limerick — reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
Driving Licence:
A full driving licence is required, as the role includes assisting with deliveries.

Pay: From €14.15 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
