A well-established commercial vehicle service Centre based in Finglas is seeking to recruit a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional with solid experience in maintaining and repairing a broad range of commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine inspections and complete scheduled servicing across all maintenance levels.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, performing repairs on light and heavy commercial vehicles, as well as related equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards, adhering to technical specifications and documentation procedures.
- Accurately document completed jobs and provide daily progress reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Work on a variety of commercial vehicle brands, including Scania, Volvo, Mercedes, MAN, and DAF.
- Contribute to overall workshop efficiency and assist with additional tasks as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of two years’ mechanical experience, ideally within a commercial vehicle setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with confidence interacting with colleagues and customers.
- Well-organized, with the ability to manage tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Professional, approachable, and customer-focused in attitude.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Capable of performing effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
