- Job Title: Retail Sales Assistant
- Reporting to: Shop Manager
- Location: Enniskeane
- Contract Type: Fixed Term contract (12 months)
Purpose of the Role:
Retail Sales Assistant will work as part of a team providing first-class customer service to our customers and assist retail team where required.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Greeting customers and assist them with any queries.
- Provide customers with information on pricing and product availability.
- Assist customers in their selection of products and escalate any technical queries to the manager.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in their areas of responsibility.
- Ensure stock levels are well maintained and products are well presented.
- Escalate any complaints or customer issues in a timely manner for resolution.
- Keep up to date with any special offers and the features and benefits of each product.
- Work as part of a team and assist other retail staff as required.
- Assisting with ordering of stock and completing goods receipt notes.
- Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Experience in retail.
- Experience with builder providers/DIY retail experience is desirable.
- Experience dealing with customers.
- Computer literate
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Teamworking skills
- Initiative
