We are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Manager to take responsibility for the daily operations of a farm feeds and electrical supplies warehouse/store. The successful candidate will manage stock control, goods intake, deliveries and customer orders.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of all warehouse activities within a fast-paced environment and to develop and implement new systems and process that will drive efficiency, whilst also maintaining high safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the warehouse and stores facility
- Be responsible for warehouse organisation and maintain accurate stock control and inventory management systems
- Coordinate daily delivery and collection schedules to meet customer requirements
- Maintain high standards across compliance and warehouse procedures
- Assist customers with trade and retail orders
- Ensure compliance with all transport and site security requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
- Manage, motivate, and support warehouse staff
- Ensure all Health & Safety standards are consistently maintained across the department
Requirements
- 3-4 years’ experience in a Warehouse Management role
- Background of working within a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment
- Experience in managing goods-in, goods-out, dispatch, and inventory control operations
- Knowledge of farm feeds, hardware or electrical products advantageous
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across other departments
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with a focus on continuous improvement
- Forklift experience/licence essential
- Manual handling
- Competent with IT systems
