As our Environment, Health & Safety Officer, you'll play a key role in fostering a culture of safety across the business of CWS Cleanrooms.
You will:

Ensure full compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and company policies.

Conduct detailed risk assessments (experience with chemical risks is a plus).

Lead accident and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are identified and implemented.

Deliver engaging safety training programs (including manual handling).

Maintain up-to-date training records, safety statements, and documentation.

Liaise with insurers, consultants, and stakeholders on all H&S matters.

Support continuous improvement through regular safety audits and reporting.

Provide H&S inductions for new staff and subcontractors.

Drive safety culture as part of an international H&S Team at CWS Cleanrooms

Relevant Degree in Health & Safety (or related field)

1-2 years' experience in a similar EHS role.

A full, clean driver's licence.

Certified Manual Handling Instructor an advantage but not essential.

Strong background in risk assessments and incident investigations.

Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

High level of computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with online management systems an advantage).

A positive, proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Location: Galway Head Office / Limerick or Dublin-
Travel: Occasional travel to client sites - flexibility is key.
