Job Summary:
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring daily tasks are performed according to company and client requirements. You will also be expected to maintain a high standard of customer service for both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries.
- Safety load and unload products using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT)
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Label, sort, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch according to company procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided where applicable).
- Conduct stock counts and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Report damaged goods, equipment issues, or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- Previous experience in warehousing, retail, manufacturing or logistics.
- A valid an dup to date Counterbalance and Reach FLT License.
- Current Manual Handling Certificate
