Job Description
Woodale Designs is looking for an Apprentice Cabinet Maker to join our manufacturing team in Carlow.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to learn the trade properly and build a long-term career in bespoke cabinetry, kitchens, wardrobes, panelling and high-end joinery.
You will work alongside experienced cabinet makers and production staff, learning how to manufacture and assemble bespoke furniture to a high standard.
The Role Will Include
- Assisting with the manufacture of bespoke kitchens, wardrobes and joinery
- Learning how to read drawings and cutting lists
- Preparing materials and components for production
- Assembling cabinets, doors, drawers and fitted furniture
- Using hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery under supervision
- Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe
- Supporting the production team with day-to-day tasks
- Learning the standards required for high-end residential joinery
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Interested in cabinet making, furniture making or joinery
- Practical, reliable and willing to learn
- Good with their hands and has attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions carefully
- Punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Serious about building a career in the trade
Previous workshop experience is an advantage but not essential.
Requirements
- No formal experience required
- Interest in woodworking, cabinetry or construction
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to get to our workshop in Carlow
- Basic understanding of tools would be an advantage

Pay
Apprentice rate / salary depending on age, experience and stage of apprenticeship.
Pay: €16.00-€22.00 per hour
