We are looking for skilled First & Second Fix Carpenters to join our team on a subcontract basis for ongoing residential projects, including attic conversions, home extensions, and occasional interior fit-out works.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out first fix carpentry, including stud partitions, floor joists, roof structures, door frames, and other structural timber work.
Complete second fix carpentry, including internal doors, skirting boards, architraves, flooring, stair components, and finishing joinery.
Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and project deadlines.
Maintain a safe and organised work area while following all site health and safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with site managers and other trades to ensure efficient project delivery.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
Proven experience in both first and second fix carpentry.
A valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
Own tools, transport, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
A recognised carpentry qualification or strong hands-on trade experience.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently.
Pay: €18.61-€28.77 per hour
