Key Account Manager (on-site)

We are seeking a high-performing Key Account Manager to drive sustainable revenue growth across strategic key accounts.
This permanent, full-time role reports to the Sales & NPD Manager and is based in our office in Clondalkin.
Key Responsibilities
Key Account Management
- Own and manage strategic accounts in Multiples and Convenience.
- Build strong relationships with senior customer decision-makers, buyers and operational contacts.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to HQs, attend customer meetings, trade events and industry exhibitions as required.
- Develop a clear account plan for each key customer, including revenue, margin, product and retention objectives.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales through new products, cross-selling, upselling and wider account penetration.
- Manage joint business plans negotiations and execution.
- Responsible for customer portals.
Commercial Management
- Responsible for retail listing portals.
- Manage promotion calendars.
- Prepare quotations, tenders, proposals and customer agreements.
- Lead negotiations on pricing, rebates, promotions, payment terms and service arrangements within approved authority levels.
- Protect gross margins.
- Recommending changes to grow customer and category performance.
- Maintain accurate price lists, contracts and agreed commercial terms.
- Provide reliable sales forecasts to support purchasing, stock planning and cash-flow management.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, marketing and contribute to broader company initiatives when required.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer buying behaviour.
- Contribute to product range, pricing and promotional decisions by providing market insight.
Required Skills & experience
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role in FMCG industry.
- Data-driven mindset and analytical capability
- Experience In networking, building relationships and cross functional collaboration
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, pivot tables and sales data analysis
- Availability to travel
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (desirable)
