Field Service Engineer – Laboratory Equipment and Extraction Systems

Right now, NSP a family owned company established in 2005 are actively hiring for a Field Service Engineer who will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and follow up support and service of laboratory extraction systems and laboratory equipment and modular cleanrooms throughout the island or Ireland. Our offices are based in Navan, Co. Meath but we have customers all over the country and as a result, willingness to travel will be critical. There will also be a requirement, on occasion, for overnight stays.

In this role as a Service Engineer you will be expected to act as an interface between the customers and the company by resolving the customers’ queries, issues and requirements. Some of the duties involve:
· Responsible for providing onsite service, routine maintenance and testing of laboratory equipment, mobile cleanrooms and extraction systems
· Installation works, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, troubleshooting and refurbishment of laboratory equipment
· Provide training to customers
· To promote and grow NSP's market share in the Irish Market
· Receiving and responding to inquiries from customers via management system, email, phone and chat, reporting to office
· Providing customers with product and service information
· Work with a range of existing customers across the 32 counties
· Identify potential new clients and introduce our range of products / services / solutions
· Manage customer requirements and provide a solution tailored to their needs
To apply you will need:
· Previous similar experience desirable, but not essential
· Educated in engineering is preferable
· Passion for providing high level of support and service to clients
Desirable experience for this role:
· Good knowledge of computers and MS Office suite
· Excellent communication skills and problem solving abilities
· Multi-task oriented
· Full clean driving licence required.
· The successful candidate must be willing to work as part of team and off one’s own initiative.
