About Us: We are specialty coffee shop and restaurant in Kilkenny, founded by Robyn and Mark Butler. Robyn's background is in specialty coffee, working in 3fe, Irelands foremost specialty coffee business and manager/quality control for many years and Mark's background is in fine dining. Our focus is bringing attention and quality to everything we do in a friendly and welcoming setting.
We opened our business with extensive experience in hospitality working for other companies and we take our responsibilities towards our employees seriously. If you are successful in your application you can expect to work in an environment of mutual respect and clear communication. Our aim is to have staff who will be happy to work with us for the long term. We work sociable hours, from 8.30/9- 4.30 and aim to have a consistent schedule for all employees week to week, so that everyone can plan their time outside of work.
Job Description:
Our ideal candidate will be able to work in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail and a friendly demeanour. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and treats hospitality seriously. Coffee experience is not essential but definitely a plus. Front of house experience is essential.
Requirements:
- Must be resident in Kilkenny or easily commutable distance and available for an in-person interview.
- Must be available to work both weekends and weekdays, 3 days per week.
- Prior experience as a Barista or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
