Carambola Ltd. are seeking enthusiastic team membersfor Permanent part time, school term-time positions of Catering Assistants/Delivery Driver from our Cork Hub located in Little Island
Garda vetting will be required.
Duties include
- Working with the team in our Hub to prepare the meals for local schools
- Drive meals in a company van to school.
- Ensure the work area is always clean and tidy.
- Communicating with school staff as required ensuring professionalism and politeness are always exercised.
- Maintaining records and returning them to our Food Safety Manager.
- Carry out any other duties that may be required.
- Working the school calendar year; Halloween, Christmas, Easter and Summer off.Requirements:
- Full clean category B driving license and aged between 25 - 63.
- Experience driving a medium size van (E.G. Renault Traffic).
- Excellent punctuality and attendance.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Highest standards of personal hygiene, as per the food safety legislation requirements.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Fluent verbal and written English.
- Experience in a similar role desirable. (Full Training Given)
Days of work are Monday to Friday and are based on the school calendar. Working the school calendar year; Halloween, Christmas, Easter and Summer off.
Hours of work are approximately 7am - 12pm (with some flexibility depending on operational needs)
